WURTH USA Gets Fast N’ Loud 0

Posted on May 25, 2013 by Matt Florian

Check out Fast N' Loud Wallpapers on ready to see WURTH’s top-quality products on Fast N’ Loud this coming season. You’ll see Richard, Aaron and the crew using them on the show, bringing rare and classic rides back to their original splendor on Monday nights at 9:00 PM EST.

Airing on The Discovery Channel, Fast N’ Loud features motor mastermind Richard Rawlings and mechanical genius Aaron Kaufmann searching Texas and its surrounding states for these cars to buy and restore at their Dallas shop, Gas Monkey Garage.

Richard and Aaron search far and wide to find these rare classic cars to restore. While there’s always a project running at Gas Monkey Garage to keep the doors open, they’re usually out looking for the next one.

Originally from Fort Worth, Richard has the experience and the eye to find these cars, negotiate the prices, and find quick-flip jobs only requiring a small amount of work to turn for profit.

Aaron, a self-taught mechanic with a lifelong passion for fixing cars, is from Crowley, TX. He ultimately decides if these finds are worthy of a Fast N’ Loud overhaul or if they’re too far-gone to bring back to life.

After the decisions are made, the major work starts once the cars get back to the shop. Since time is money at Gas Monkey Garage, the team races against the clock to get these cars finished to get them to auction.

How It All Started

When Richard needed someone to air ride his ’53 Ford Mainline, he took it to a local car shop and wanted their top guy to do it. That guy was Aaron. Later, when Richard started Gas Monkey Garage, he remembered the quality of the job Aaron had done and asked him to partner with him in his next endeavor.

What’s Aaron’s all-time favorite car? An AC Cobra, “They’re a driver’s car and it’s just an absolute beast.”

Brad Keselowski Wins The Nascar 2012 Sprint Cup Championship with With Würth As A First Year Sponsor 0

Posted on November 19, 2012 by Matt Florian

On Sunday, November 18th in Homestead Florida, NASCAR crowned a new Champion. Brad Keselowski in just his third year in the Sprint Cup Series, beat out 5 time champion, Jimmie Johnson to take home the Series Championship Title in the #2 Miller Lite Dodge with Würth as an associate sponsor.

The young, energetic, twitter-loving, Keselowski celebrated the victory with his unique brand of fun-loving humility. From the championship stage, Keselowski said, “Always, throughout my whole life I’ve been told I’m not big enough, not fast enough, not strong enough and I don’t have what it takes. I’ve used that as a chip on my shoulder to carry me through my whole career. It took until this year for me to realize that that was right; man, they were right. I’m not big enough, fast enough or strong enough. No person is. Only a team can do that.”

This marks the first NASCAR championship for Roger Penske and capped off a hugely successful year for the first year of the Würth sponsorship. Over the course of the entire season, Würth hosted some 2000+ employees and customers at race tracks all around the country at the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Races. But more importantly the partnership with Penske Racing reflected the shared values of both organizations that were stated so well by Mr. Keselowski: “Only a team can do that.”

Congratulations to Brad Keselowski, Roger Penske, the #2 Miller Lite Dodge team, and the Würth Group on a Winning Season and Penske Racing’s first ever Cup Series Title.
